My Reads
Some of my favorite series since getting my Amazon Kindle 2 in February 2009.
* Indicates books I’ve read
Keri Arthur
* Full Moon Rising (Riley Jensen, Guardian, Book 1) – Got as a free download from Amazon. Good first book. More sex than I prefer and little romance (which is ok with me too). Story was ok.
Melissa Marr
* Wicked Lovely - About Faeries.. enjoyed it. There are a couple more in the “series”, but this is a stand alone book.
Charlie Carillo
* Raising Jake – not a series, and far different than most of what I read (that I post here anyway). I got the book when it was a freeby download and it was worth it. It was such a good book about a dad in a dead end job (who ends up quitting job to go to a meeting at son’s school), and son in private school who gets kicked out for not agreeing with the school system. They take the weekend to really get to know each other. Dad heals and son learns more about who he is and where he come from. Really a nice read.

You’d better slow down you might burn out your kindle. ;)
I’ll have to look into these since I’m a bit partial to the ‘ol vamp me-self. Have you tried the Anita Blake Vampire Hunter series? It starts out very good but gets a bit over the top mid way through the series – I’ll still probably keep reading them to see what happens next. Another one that is based on the history of Vlad the Impaler is The Historian – that was a mighty fine read too.
