Got this 8-hundred number while I was eating some lunch. Showed up at 1(877) 648-0958.
My cell number is private – in that when I have business stuff (banks, credit cards, etc) I give a different number… so I knew caller wasn’t necessarily “important”. Just phone spam.
I answered and got a recorded speil about how they are calling about my credit card, not to worry, nothing serious, just that they might be able to lower my interest rates, etc. To please press 1 for more information.
So I pressed one. The man who answered didn’t give me a name and I didn’t think to ask for one. I just thought I’d politely ask to have my cell number removed from their accounts.. which I said. He told me No. Just plain and simple.
Stuttering I told him, no this is a private number and it needs to be removed or I’d report their company.. he asked to whom? Which stumped me because I don’t know.. so I just restated he needed to take my number off their accounts.. he replied that I needed to take my underwear off..
Yep, read that right. The perv telemarketer told me to take my underwear off.
Now, I could totally get upset, call them back (half expect the number won’t take incoming calls) and try to raise a stink, but likely there are a handful of “telemarketers” all scamming people out of credit card info.. and when they get a call like mine, they are all probably laughing their butts off at the guy telling me I need to take my underwear off.
What scuzzy creepers. Ick.s

Supposedly they’re “Account Services” but call people on credit cards, health stuff, etc…
Report this to the FTC! It is a scam.
Go to http://www.ftc.gov and report to shut them down.
FYI, here’s a comment from 800notes.com, which is one of the many websites that deal with unwanted phone calls:
“I received a call from this number about MC, Visa,Amex, and Discover which is weird because they are all run by different companies and one has nothing to do with the other (accept MC and Visa). I also don’t have any credit cards so that was weird as well. It asked me to press 1 so I did hoping to tell them to take me off their list. A woman came on the phone and asked me if I received a message and I said “yes but I don’t have any credit cards” and she hung up on me. I called back and the phone number is invalid. DEFINITELY A SCAM TRYING TO GET CREDIT CARD INFORMATION”

i hate those telemarketers. in fact, ones calling my house right now! but anyways, that same number has been calling everyone, including my friend! they get on your nerves fast!
