Enzo helping with Laundry

I came across this one of Enzo (italian greyhound @ 6 mos old)… he’s in his red long-john pjs, helping me with laundry. Of course.. he’s the one that pees on it.. and then I wash it..
He’s been the hardest pup to housetrain.. but he is getting better. I knew going into our “relationship” that IG’s were typically hard to house train. Really, I don’t think he’s as bad as I thought he’d be. He learned the potty box (indoor) pretty quick, but he still piddles on clothes on the floor (I need to work on training US to not leave things lying on the floor) and he’ll sneak and pee on the blankets - rotten.. so we have to keep bedroom doors shut… We’re learning real well.. lol.
But aside from that.. he’s just the cutest pooch. He’s my little love.

You have such a brilliant collection of furry kids, I’m very envious. I fell in love with Olivia last week, and now an Italian Greyhound - one of my favourite breeds - and what a face! (Hmmm, shame about the peeeing.)
My friend’s regular greyhound is coming to stay for a week in a few days’ time, which I’m looking forward to. She’s the most affectionate ol’ girl (the dog, not my friend), who was abused when she was a track dog. Sadly, she now has a fear of men in particular, but is nervous of everyone at first. I just have the one cat these days, so having Jasmine come to stay is a real treat.
Aw, and a lil baby ratlet, too… you really are very furtunate;-D

Enzo is just too cute for words!
Mine still pees on the carpet only in the living room in front of the main door. She keeps sneaking downstairs when I’m sleeping. I keep cleaning it up. I even pull up the water at night. Yet when I have her penned in the kitchen during the day when I’m at work no accidents. Haven’t figured it out but it will be interesting when I rip out the carpet this summer for wood floors to see what she does then.
awww your pooch is just gorgeous, such a sweet mischievious face
Cute! My cats never help with housework.

Enzo is adorable! With a face like that, you can forgive the occasional indisgression. We adopted a 3 yr old chihuahua from a rescue organization, and had some housetraining problems too. If a blast of sleet or rain hits her in the face when she sticks her nose outside, back inside she comes until the weather clears. She’s been known to hold it for 24 hours, and rarely she’ll sneek down to the basement and go on a throw rug. But all in all she’s gotten much better, and I can live with it.
