I have been battling IBS for most of my life and know how it can bring you down. On the days when I am wracked with pain I try to look at it as pain being a weakness leaving my body, and try to think about only the good stuff. Good luck. I had an intestinal scare for a year - and because I also did not have insurance I had to just deal with it, all the while worrying it was Crohn's - thankfully it was not to my surprise. I wish you well, I hope it goes into remission so you can go back to a normal comfortable life. I'm an animal person and always have had pets. Now my baby is a 120lb Black Lab/Shep. Did you rescue Enzo? Anyway, I was really commenting on the Crohn's part of your post. I know ALL about living with this disease. I don't have it, but my son does. Diagnosed at 18 (now 30) and believe me, he's gone thru alot- and me too. He was 185 lbs, went down to under 125. I can share tips (crock pot) and tell you what has helped him during these years. Please feel free to write...andrea@acassociatesusa.com He used to take 16 pills a day (pentaza) and now he refuses to take any RX. He was in remission for 7 years, but it surfaced again 2 years ago.
