Hi Judi I just wanted to say thanks for including your pic's it helps to see the process and so far your the first I have seen that is so through. I just purchased a couple of spider plant one a reverse spider, I heard that they give out a lot of oxygen as well as clean toxins from the air both of which are important to me.

Nice! It was neat to discover that my spider plant was also reverse variegated. I knew it was variegated but not that it was 'reverse variegated'!

I heard that spider plants love being crowded in pots so if you repot them, they'll struggle and/or die. Pffft... Not from my experience. My reverse variegated spider plant just grows bigger to accommodate the new pot and THEN some. hehe.

The seeds grew green spider plants so that was an interesting thing to have as well.

I am sure since a spider plant is a topical plant, it can grow outdoors in some areas... but I know in my area - SW Ohio, it sure can't survive the cold weather. I'd suggest just putting it in a nice planter and bring it in when the weather cools off each year.
