This one isn’t for the dogs.. People get to have their own puppy chow treat.
This is a fun snack favorite and easy to make too.
Puppy Chow
1/4 cup butter
3/4 cup peanut butter
1 cup chocolate chips
8 cups Crispix cereal (or Chex)
2 cups powdered sugar
- Mix peanut butter, chocolate chips and butter in a pan and melt.
- In a large bowl, pour melted mixture over crispix cereal, mixing well.
- Put powdered sugar in a large paper sack and add cereal mixture.
- Fold top of paper sack and shake to coat evenly.
Recipe Variations:
9 cup Chex (or Crispix)
1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup butter
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cup powdered sugar
For fun, serve in small dog dishes. :)

This recipe is a life-saver! I had to make about three times this much for a senior executive fundraiser and the person who told me the “recipe” forgot about two different things! This stuff is good! Teens eat it like crazy!
