Selling your home usually means an Open House.
I should note, we’ve never sold a house before. We didn’t even do much looking before we bought this house. Bob called a realtor. The realtor thought he had the “perfect” house for us… we pulled in the drive and knew immediately this was the house we wanted. No more looking and we’ve been here ever since.
When you have a get-together at your home, you clean it. But you know that it doesn’t have to be “perfect”. Friends and family are coming to visit, not inspect your home.
Not so with an open house. It’s quite the opposite. Everyone will be coming to inspect the house and we will be no where in sight. What I gives me the willies is knowing that every Nosey Nelly will be coming to check out our house. I told Bob I want a camera set up to see who comes. :)
It’s Tuesday morning, snow on the ground. Haven’t seen this much since December. Sure doesn’t feel like the first days of spring. No sign on our “For Sale” sign indicating an Open House this weekend. I imagine Judy Davis Homes probably won’t have it any time soon today, but maybe tomorrow.
