		<description>This article is incorrect. Google could care less whether you include WWW or not; although it will treat them separately for now (but that is an internal Google problem I imagine they will correct shortly). 

And, there is NO DUPLICATE CONTENT. Properly set up web hosts will point either URL address to the same site.

The access, or lack thereof, to a website that has, or hasn&#039;t, the WWW domain prefix is totally under control of the web hosting company. A simple parameter correction to your DNS records in their web server configuration will ensure that visitors always get to your site regardless of whether they include WWW or not.
